# Codewords Pro vs MotLe

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Codewords Pro at 88% against MotLe's 33%. Codewords Pro also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (259 vs 1). MotLe's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Codewords Pro sells 16 one-off in-app purchases and MotLe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Codewords Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Codewords Pro has 259 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of Codewords Pro's written reviews are positive against 33% of MotLe's.

Codewords Pro ships an update every 3 months, MotLe fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
