# Codewords Pro vs Vajeh | واژه

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Codewords Pro at 259 against Vajeh | واژه's 1. Codewords Pro also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.2). Vajeh | واژه's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Codewords Pro sells 16 one-off in-app purchases and Vajeh | واژه sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vajeh | واژه holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Codewords Pro has 259 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Codewords Pro ships an update every 3 months, Vajeh | واژه fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
