# Earth++ vs Rockets

The clearest difference is ads: Rockets at none against Earth++'s shown. Rockets also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months). Earth++'s advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Earth++ sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Rockets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Earth++ ships an update every 3 months, Rockets every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
