# IPTV Streamer vs Flip TV

The clearest difference is rating: Flip TV at 5.0 against IPTV Streamer's 4.5. Flip TV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). IPTV Streamer's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 10%) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 1). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Streamer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per year. Flip TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flip TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Streamer has 3.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of IPTV Streamer's written reviews are positive against 10% of Flip TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IPTV Streamer ships an update every 4 weeks, Flip TV monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
