# BookPlayer vs motonovel

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BookPlayer at 83% against motonovel's 6%. BookPlayer also leads on rating (4.8 vs 1.3) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). motonovel's advantage is iOS requirement (13 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BookPlayer sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and motonovel sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
