# SHRM Certification vs Workhuman Live

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Workhuman Live at 83% against SHRM Certification's 32%. Workhuman Live also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months). SHRM Certification's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 17). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SHRM Certification holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SHRM Certification has 2.5K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of SHRM Certification's written reviews are positive against 83% of Workhuman Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SHRM Certification ships an update every 6 months, Workhuman Live monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
