# Optimus Tracking vs TrackiPet

The clearest difference is rating: Optimus Tracking at 4.6 against TrackiPet's 2.7. Optimus Tracking also leads on ratings volume (4.8K vs 17). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Optimus Tracking holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Optimus Tracking has 4.8K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Optimus Tracking's written reviews are positive against 61% of TrackiPet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Optimus Tracking ships an update every 5 weeks, TrackiPet monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
