The clearest difference is ads: GOT EMPANADAS at none against Sardi's's shown. GOT EMPANADAS also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). Sardi's's advantage is ratings volume (906 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GOT EMPANADAS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sardi's has 906 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
