# Sardi's vs The Artemis

The clearest difference is ads: The Artemis at none against Sardi's's shown. The Artemis also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (50% vs 39%). Sardi's's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (906 vs 12). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sardi's holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sardi's has 906 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Sardi's's written reviews are positive against 50% of The Artemis's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sardi's ships an update every 4 months, The Artemis every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
