# Sardi's vs Pizza 20

Sardi's and Pizza 20 both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Pizza 20's written reviews are positive against 39% of Sardi's's. Pizza 20 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Sardi's's advantage is ratings volume (906 vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pizza 20 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sardi's has 906 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of Sardi's's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pizza 20's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
