# Sardi's vs Spice Kitchen Rewards

Sardi's and Spice Kitchen Rewards both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Spice Kitchen Rewards's written reviews are positive against 39% of Sardi's's. Spice Kitchen Rewards also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Sardi's's advantage is ratings volume (907 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sardi's holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sardi's has 907 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Sardi's's written reviews are positive against 100% of Spice Kitchen Rewards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sardi's ships an update every 4 months, Spice Kitchen Rewards every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
