# Folder Note and String Counter vs タブ式メモ帳

The clearest difference is rating: Folder Note and String Counter at 4.9 against タブ式メモ帳's 4.0. Folder Note and String Counter also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 2). タブ式メモ帳's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (82% vs 66%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Folder Note and String Counter sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and タブ式メモ帳 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Folder Note and String Counter holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Folder Note and String Counter has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Folder Note and String Counter's written reviews are positive against 82% of タブ式メモ帳's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Folder Note and String Counter ships an update every 2 months, タブ式メモ帳 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
