# DDPAI vs Gimbal Show

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Gimbal Show at none against DDPAI's 4. Gimbal Show also leads on ratings volume (40 vs 13). DDPAI's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 3.0) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DDPAI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Gimbal Show asks for nothing beyond the download.

DDPAI holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 40 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of DDPAI's written reviews are positive against 24% of Gimbal Show's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DDPAI ships an update fortnightly, Gimbal Show monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
