# DDPAI vs Droid Dashcam

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Droid Dashcam at 86% against DDPAI's 18%. Droid Dashcam also leads on rating (3.8 vs 3.5). DDPAI's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DDPAI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Droid Dashcam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
