# Wifi Camera FPV vs FtyCam

The clearest difference is ads: Wifi Camera FPV at none against FtyCam's shown. Wifi Camera FPV also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). FtyCam's advantage is ratings volume (190 vs 12). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FtyCam holds the better App Store score, 1.8 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FtyCam has 190 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Wifi Camera FPV's written reviews are positive against 7% of FtyCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wifi Camera FPV ships an update fortnightly, FtyCam monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
