# puhutv vs Cinetime

The clearest difference is rating: Cinetime at 5.0 against puhutv's 3.3. Cinetime also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). puhutv's advantage is review sentiment (35% vs 0%) and ratings volume (116 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cinetime holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: puhutv has 116 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of puhutv's written reviews are positive against 0% of Cinetime's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

puhutv ships an update every 6 weeks, Cinetime monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
