# Waterfall vs Calculator

The clearest difference is update cadence: Calculator at every 4 weeks against Waterfall's every 4 months. Waterfall's advantage is device support (5 vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Waterfall costs $0.99 and Calculator $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Waterfall ships an update every 4 months, Calculator every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
