# AURA Headset vs Brick

The clearest difference is rating: AURA Headset at 4.7 against Brick's 3.2. AURA Headset also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). Brick's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AURA Headset holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of AURA Headset's written reviews are positive against 20% of Brick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AURA Headset ships an update every 5 months, Brick every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
