# Telly vs Defragment

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Telly at none against Defragment's 4. Telly also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Defragment's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 4 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Defragment sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Telly asks for nothing beyond the download.

Telly ships an update every 4 months, Defragment daily. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
