# Zapping vs Forever Radio

The clearest difference is update cadence: Zapping at every 2 months against Forever Radio's every 12 months. Forever Radio's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zapping ships an update every 2 months, Forever Radio every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
