# Zapping vs Outpoints

The clearest difference is rating: Zapping at 3.8 against Outpoints's 1.0. Zapping also leads on ratings volume (159 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). Outpoints's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zapping holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zapping has 159 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Zapping ships an update every 2 months, Outpoints every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
