# YouTrend vs IPTV Player

The clearest difference is rating: IPTV Player at 4.3 against YouTrend's 3.7. IPTV Player also leads on ratings volume (924 vs 9) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). YouTrend's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 16) and review sentiment (67% vs 39%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Player sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. YouTrend asks for nothing beyond the download.

IPTV Player holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Player has 924 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of YouTrend's written reviews are positive against 39% of IPTV Player's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YouTrend ships an update every 2 months, IPTV Player every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
