# Mindfield eSense vs Yudemon HRV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Yudemon HRV at 92% against Mindfield eSense's 46%. Yudemon HRV also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). Mindfield eSense's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindfield eSense sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Yudemon HRV sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mindfield eSense holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yudemon HRV has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Mindfield eSense's written reviews are positive against 92% of Yudemon HRV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mindfield eSense ships an update monthly, Yudemon HRV every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
