# Cider Expert vs OnlyDrams

Cider Expert and OnlyDrams both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Cider Expert's written reviews are positive against 65% of OnlyDrams's. Cider Expert also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). OnlyDrams's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 5) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OnlyDrams sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Cider Expert asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Cider Expert against 4.9 for OnlyDrams. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OnlyDrams has 11K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Cider Expert's written reviews are positive against 65% of OnlyDrams's.

Cider Expert ships an update every 3 months, OnlyDrams fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
