# Flannels vs The Terrace

The clearest difference is ads: Flannels at none against The Terrace's shown. Flannels also leads on ratings volume (429 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). The Terrace's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Terrace holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flannels has 429 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
