# Plant Monster Simulator vs Fly Trapper!

The clearest difference is rating: Plant Monster Simulator at 4.3 against Fly Trapper!'s 3.4. Plant Monster Simulator also leads on ratings volume (324 vs 8) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Fly Trapper!'s advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 57 months) and review sentiment (75% vs 54%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Plant Monster Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plant Monster Simulator has 324 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Plant Monster Simulator's written reviews are positive against 75% of Fly Trapper!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Plant Monster Simulator ships an update every 57 months, Fly Trapper! fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
