# Classic German Whist vs SYNTAX

The clearest difference is update cadence: SYNTAX at every 2 days against Classic German Whist's monthly. SYNTAX also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Classic German Whist sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SYNTAX sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Classic German Whist ships an update monthly, SYNTAX every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
