# Paper Scanner ++ vs Case Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Case Tracker at 4.8 against Paper Scanner ++'s 1.0. Case Tracker also leads on ratings volume (128 vs 1). Paper Scanner ++'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Case Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Case Tracker has 128 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
