# Siddur vs Mourning

The clearest difference is rating: Mourning at 5.0 against Siddur's 3.6. Mourning also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 months). Siddur's advantage is ratings volume (36 vs 7) and price ($5.99 vs $6.99). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Siddur costs $5.99 and Mourning $6.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mourning holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Siddur has 36 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Siddur ships an update every 3 months, Mourning every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
