# Bubble Cube 2 vs Crypto Snake

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Crypto Snake at none against Bubble Cube 2's 10. Crypto Snake also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). Bubble Cube 2's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (3.6K vs 6). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bubble Cube 2 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Crypto Snake asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bubble Cube 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bubble Cube 2 has 3.6K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Bubble Cube 2's written reviews are positive against 100% of Crypto Snake's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bubble Cube 2 ships an update every 2 months, Crypto Snake every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
