# BookFusion vs Softgoods

The clearest difference is rating: BookFusion at 4.7 against Softgoods's 4.4. BookFusion also leads on ratings volume (519 vs 74). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BookFusion sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Softgoods sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BookFusion holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BookFusion has 519 ratings behind it against 74, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of BookFusion's written reviews are positive against 74% of Softgoods's.

BookFusion ships an update every 10 days, Softgoods fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
