# BookFusion vs Pegasas

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pegasas at none against BookFusion's 6. Pegasas also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). BookFusion's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (523 vs 6). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BookFusion sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Pegasas asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pegasas holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BookFusion has 523 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BookFusion ships an update every 10 days, Pegasas every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
