# PARALLAX vs Echoes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PARALLAX at 95% against Echoes's 50%. PARALLAX also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Echoes's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PARALLAX sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Echoes sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PARALLAX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Echoes has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 95% of PARALLAX's written reviews are positive against 50% of Echoes's.

PARALLAX ships an update every 3 weeks, Echoes monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
