# Stetson Safety vs Wick

The clearest difference is rating: Wick at 4.2 against Stetson Safety's 3.5. Wick also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 30 months) and ratings volume (74 vs 4). Stetson Safety's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 63%) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wick sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Stetson Safety asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wick holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wick has 74 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Stetson Safety's written reviews are positive against 63% of Wick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stetson Safety ships an update every 30 months, Wick every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
