# Nonogram King vs Nonogram Galaxy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nonogram Galaxy at monthly against Nonogram King's every 4 months. Nonogram Galaxy also leads on ratings volume (326 vs 23) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nonogram King sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Nonogram Galaxy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nonogram Galaxy holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nonogram Galaxy has 326 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Nonogram King's written reviews are positive against 72% of Nonogram Galaxy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nonogram King ships an update every 4 months, Nonogram Galaxy monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
