# SecuritySpy vs Cam&Cam

The clearest difference is monetization model: SecuritySpy at free against Cam&Cam's subscription. SecuritySpy also leads on review sentiment (57% vs 42%). Cam&Cam's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SecuritySpy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cam&Cam sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.5 for SecuritySpy against 3.6 for Cam&Cam. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 86 and 88 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 57% of SecuritySpy's written reviews are positive against 42% of Cam&Cam's.
