# DECADE powered by BirdieFire vs Rypstick

The clearest difference is monetization model: Rypstick at free with in-app purchases against DECADE powered by BirdieFire's subscription. Rypstick also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 189). DECADE powered by BirdieFire's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 41%) and chart position (#161 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DECADE powered by BirdieFire sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per 6 months and Rypstick sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rypstick holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rypstick has 1.9K ratings behind it against 189, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of DECADE powered by BirdieFire's written reviews are positive against 41% of Rypstick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DECADE powered by BirdieFire ships an update weekly, Rypstick every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
