# ScanMe! vs KPBS+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ScanMe! at 60% against KPBS+'s 0%. ScanMe! also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.0). KPBS+'s advantage is rating (3.8 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KPBS+ holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KPBS+ has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of ScanMe!'s written reviews are positive against 0% of KPBS+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
