# Trala vs QuickWord

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: QuickWord at none against Trala's 11. QuickWord also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Trala's advantage is ratings volume (4.9K vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trala sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. QuickWord asks for nothing beyond the download.

QuickWord holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trala has 4.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Trala ships an update every 6 weeks, QuickWord every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
