# OUTtvGo vs Here TV

The clearest difference is rating: Here TV at 4.4 against OUTtvGo's 2.2. Here TV also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 45) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). OUTtvGo's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OUTtvGo sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Here TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Here TV holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Here TV has 1.3K ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 11% of OUTtvGo's written reviews are positive against 14% of Here TV's.

OUTtvGo ships an update every 5 months, Here TV every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
