# CoD drones vs Gun Simulator

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Gun Simulator at 650 against CoD drones's 17. Gun Simulator also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.2). CoD drones's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (60% vs 43%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gun Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gun Simulator has 650 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of CoD drones's written reviews are positive against 43% of Gun Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CoD drones ships an update every 4 days, Gun Simulator fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
