# iStopwatch vs TimeSet

The clearest difference is update cadence: TimeSet at every 2 weeks against iStopwatch's monthly. TimeSet also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iStopwatch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TimeSet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iStopwatch ships an update monthly, TimeSet every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
