# Counter Tally Count vs Unit Convert

The clearest difference is ads: Unit Convert at none against Counter Tally Count's shown. Unit Convert also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (100% vs 87%). Counter Tally Count's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 15) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Counter Tally Count sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Unit Convert sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Counter Tally Count holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Counter Tally Count has 14K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Counter Tally Count's written reviews are positive against 100% of Unit Convert's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Counter Tally Count ships an update every 3 weeks, Unit Convert every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
