# Pancheros vs Castaways

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Pancheros at 11K against Castaways's 19. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Pancheros against 4.8 for Castaways. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pancheros has 11K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pancheros ships an update every 5 months, Castaways every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
