# OVinfo vs RET

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RET at none against OVinfo's 1. RET also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (166 vs 1). OVinfo's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OVinfo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. RET asks for nothing beyond the download.

OVinfo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RET has 166 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OVinfo ships an update every 3 weeks, RET every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
