# FUNKEDUP vs Old Skool Sessions

The clearest difference is ads: Old Skool Sessions at none against FUNKEDUP's shown. Old Skool Sessions also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). FUNKEDUP's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 18 months) and ratings volume (30 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for FUNKEDUP against 5.0 for Old Skool Sessions. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FUNKEDUP has 30 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
