# Mocation vs Anitabi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Anitabi at none against Mocation's 9. Anitabi also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Mocation's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 47%) and ratings volume (66 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mocation sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Anitabi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Anitabi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mocation has 66 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Mocation's written reviews are positive against 47% of Anitabi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mocation ships an update every 2 months, Anitabi every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
