# Vegetarian Meal Plan vs View Menu

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vegetarian Meal Plan at 75% against View Menu's 11%. Vegetarian Meal Plan also leads on rating (4.1 vs 3.1) and monetization model (freemium vs subscription). View Menu's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vegetarian Meal Plan sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and View Menu sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vegetarian Meal Plan holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vegetarian Meal Plan has 1K ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Vegetarian Meal Plan's written reviews are positive against 11% of View Menu's.

Vegetarian Meal Plan ships an update every 2 months, View Menu every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
