# Booeys vs Plugo by PlayShifu

The clearest difference is rating: Plugo by PlayShifu at 4.7 against Booeys's 3.9. Plugo by PlayShifu also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (7.8K vs 16). Booeys's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 51%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Plugo by PlayShifu holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plugo by PlayShifu has 7.8K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Booeys's written reviews are positive against 51% of Plugo by PlayShifu's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Booeys ships an update every 9 months, Plugo by PlayShifu every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
