# Ultimate Prepper vs Mini Empire

The clearest difference is rating: Mini Empire at 4.5 against Ultimate Prepper's 4.3. Ultimate Prepper's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ultimate Prepper sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Mini Empire sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Written reviews complicate that: 95% of Ultimate Prepper's written reviews are positive against 92% of Mini Empire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
